Situated in the catchment area of the river Yamuna, Indri is not just the name of a quaint village, nestled amidst the Himalayan foothills but also the home of our distillery.
This lush green landscape forms an integral part of India's agricultural heartland. Our fields and the warehouse where our malt matures embrace the majestic Indian peacock as it wanders freely, a symbol of nature's unfettered grace.

Nose
Delicate hints of chocolate intertwined with subtle vanilla sweetness, a touch of spice, dried apple and apricot. Notes of fruit jam and peat dust with earthy undertones.
Palate
Tropical fruits like mango, ripe banana, rich toffee, light spice followed by a warm embrace of dried peat smoke. Melon adds a refreshing twist, while a sweet, fruity essence lingers with a soft, rounded smokiness.
Finish
A blend of sweet and salty nuances, culminating in a smooth, smoky finish. Balanced layers of fruit sweetness and soft spice leave a lasting impression and a long finish.



THE STORY OF THE WOOD
Indri- Agneya is matured in a combination of Ex-Bourbon and PX-Sherry casks. These American oak bourbon casks and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks are carefully selected by our Master Blender bringing together the best of both worlds. These casks lend notes of vanilla, caramel and toasted wood from the bourbon casks, while seasoned sherry casks enrich the spirit with layers of dried fruits, warm spices, and nutty undertones which allows the whisky to develop a nuanced depth and complexity showcasing the distinct influence of both cask types. Each cask is chosen for its ability to complement and enhance the whisky’s character over time bringing you the finest elixir.
